I have lived in Cambridge for most of my life. From an early age I was encouraged by my mother to “always look up” and appreciate buildings and their history. I have retained this passion to share the beauty of Cambridge with visitors from all over the world.
I studied English literature and Community Studies at York which led to a varied career in early years education and family support. In 2015 I trained to be a tour guide and love this change of career path.
I tailor my tours to suit the ages and interests of the group. I balance historical facts with fun anecdotes from student and town life. I am particularly interested in the history of women in Cambridge, architecture and public art.
Alongside central Cambridge tours I run social history tours in the Mill Road, Barnwell and Kite areas of Cambridge.
