I’ve lived and worked in Cambridge for 30 years and brought up my children here, so I have a deep local knowledge and appreciation of the city. I’m constantly discovering new things about its past and present and I’m passionate about sharing these discoveries with others.
My tours focus on explaining Cambridge in context while at the same time telling (often scandalous!) stories about the people who have lived here and the changes they’ve brought about.
I like to get to know the individuals I’m hosting, so I can adapt my tours to their specific backgrounds and interests and make sure I’m putting the stories into their context. In addition to a highlights tour of the key sites in Cambridge, in the past few months alone I’ve given tours on:
