Hi, I’m Maggie. I’ve lived and worked in Cambridge for almost 50 years and would like you to think I moved here when I was two, although clearly that would be a lie!
I have been introducing visitors and locals to the delights of Cambridge and the Fitzwilliam Museum since qualifying as a guide over 20 years ago. My main career in nursing led me to specialise in student health and for 25 years, I worked with students in one of the larger Cambridge colleges.
I offer bespoke tours that are first and foremost enjoyable while, where possible, tailoring the content and length to meet the enthusiasms of my visitors. Before meeting you, I will try to find out where your interests lie so be prepared for a bit of a dialogue! Perhaps a general introduction to Cambridge/student life past and present/spies/death, disease and medicine/quirks and curiosities … let’s talk!
