College traditions and student life are my favourite stories to share—full of rituals, rivalries, humour and hidden corners. I’ve lived here for 20 years and I guide with a warm, well-paced style that helps everyone feel included, whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning for a deeper look.
My specialist interests include the everyday drama of university life (from curious customs to student myths), Cambridge’s printing and publishing heritage, and the city’s choral culture—I sing with a community choir and love the soundscape of chapel music. I also hold degrees from both Oxford and Cambridge, which gives me an affectionate insider’s perspective on the university world—without ever taking it too seriously.
Expect a friendly, engaging tour with vivid storytelling, thoughtful stops and time for questions (and great photos). I’m currently available to guide on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.
